Through her web-based organization Saber Para la Vida, Carolina is empowering women entrepreneurs across Mexico by providing them with the tools to develop successful businesses that are compatible with their outside lives and the competing demands on their time. She is also the Executive Director of the Ashoka office in Mexico.

This 20-year-old changemaker founded Roll It Girl, a community that support and gives visibility to girls and women in high-risk sports, especially surf and skateboard. She seeks to encourage other women to practice traditionally male sports, reinforcing female representation and role models.

Irene studied Law at Deusto University and has an European Masters on Human Rights and Democracy by the University of Pádua. She has more than 20 years of experience in the social change sector, particularly in the areas of advocacy and communication. For the last 10 years she has worked on the change.org petition platform, first launching the platform in Spain and in recent years as general director for Latin America, Asia and Africa. Previously, Irene was director of the Department of Campaigns and Studies at Oxfam Intermón and worked in the Human Rights department of the European Commission in Brussels.

Inés has been the Director of the Juan Entrecanales de Azcarate Foundation for 16 years and is a member of the Spanish Association Against Cancer where she has been helping to further its mission since 2013. She is a member of the advisory board of Fundación Balia.
